See ya on the flip side - Tim Pritchard
Alex has mentioned some of the company achievements that I would have mentioned, namely the task for SUFC, but personally, my highlights have been the both technical and human.
The developments and strengthening of client relationships inline with developments and improvements of the projects and campaigns that we’re working on has been the true highlight. After working in and around the web for nearly 20 years, 2024 has been a year of learning and new experiences within the whole digital ecosystem.
This year, we’ve produced custom elements for Sea2Soil to improve user experience and present their content in interesting and engaging ways which has involved video, text animation and SVG interaction.
For Stallard Kane, we’ve developed an asynchronous article filtering system which allows the client to better serve the needs of the their customers by giving context to dynamic collections of articles. We’ve also implemented a customised staged-form setup to improve requests for their training courses, amongst a years-worth of continual updates to meet the changing demands of their audiences.
For Weatherbar, we’re developing our first customised Shopify store which has been our first foray into remote development for Shopify Themes, using their native templating language and getting to grips with their eco-system to achieve the content and data relationship requirements for our client.
We developed and launched the agency’s first Progressive Web App for Agri.Cycle, which integrated with their website to allow their customers to more easily take advantage of their service. Not only was it a first for our company, it appears it’s a first for their industry, so it enabled our client to have edge on their competition.
We delivered some of the most ambitious responsive visual and relational data designs that I’ve worked on for Woldmarsh to position them as a group of knowledgeable experts to foster a community of farmers and support their buying group.
What I’m looking forward to in 2025, is to continue to push the envelope to use technology to solve particular problems, and help the customers of our clients get the answers that they’re searching for. The web, and the technologies used are always developing, and if next year means as much learning as this year, then who knows what we’re going to be able to achieve together. I look forward to being challenged to find a solution for the issues that our clients are facing that works for them. It’s all about collaboration, relentlessly asking questions to make things better, and the journey together.
