From starting out to stepping up
It’s one of those things I’ve been meaning to write about ever since, and now that I’ve had a moment to reflect, it feels like the perfect time to look back on the journey and share what this achievement means to me.
The start of something new
When I first began my apprenticeship, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I knew I had a passion for creativity and communication, but stepping into the world of digital marketing was like opening the door to a whole new universe. And let me tell you: it’s been a steep learning curve, but such a rewarding one.
Learning, growing and gaining confidence
Over (almost) two years, I’ve developed skills I never imagined I’d have when I first started. More importantly, I’ve gained the confidence to use them. I’ve worked with real clients, contributed to meaningful campaigns, learned how to manage projects, and discovered the buzz of working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Through it all, I’ve been surrounded by a team that truly wants to see me grow, and that has made all the difference.
A day in the life
These days, life as a Client Services Associate is all about being the bridge between our clients and the rest of the team. I spend a lot of my time managing relationships - keeping communication clear, proactive, and friendly, and making sure everyone’s on the same page (and moving in the same direction!). Whether it’s planning ahead, jumping on check-in calls, or responding to the little day-to-day questions that keep things running smoothly, I’m now right in the heart of it all.
No two days are the same, and that’s exactly what I love about it. I’ve gone from learning the ropes to actually putting those skills into practice and seeing the impact of my work. Helping projects come together, making sure clients feel heard and supported, and working alongside such a creative team makes every day genuinely exciting. It’s fast-paced, people-focused, and super rewarding.
So, what’s next?
Well, I’m officially no longer an apprentice - I’m a fully fledged marketer now, and that still feels a bit surreal to say! But I’m excited. Really excited. There's so much more to learn and experience, and I’m ready to keep growing, keep challenging myself, and keep doing work I’m proud of.
If you're thinking about doing an apprenticeship or considering a career in digital marketing, I’d say: go for it. There’s no “perfect” time to start - just start. The growth you’ll see in yourself is worth every moment.
