When you mix growing up on an arable farm in Lincolnshire with an industrial product design degree and a passion for sport, what do you get? An events management specialist, of course. Following a couple of years gliding up and down the slopes of Alpine France, London called. After some time as an executive assistant, she moved to Chelsea Football Club to manage their events, from small Q&A sessions, to the end of season Player of the Year extravaganza.
The role had a heavy fundraising and charitable element, so when the opportunity to move to The Bobby Moore Fund at Cancer Research UK presented itself, Louise took it with both hands. From there she progressed to being the major donor events manager, developing, through her events, crucial relationships with prospective and existing benefactors, including helping to launch the campaign to raise £100 million for The Francis Crick Institute.
Now a resident of Market Rasen, you will find Louise splitting her time between her family, co-managing the farm and working with clients on the offline side of Knapton Wright Ltd.
