Our Favourite Halloween 2019 Marketing Content
Halloween is a time for trick or treating, pumpkin carving and apple bobbing. It's also a time for businesses and marketers to let their creative juices flow with fun campaigns and engaging content.
Brexit confusion aside, 31st October 2019 was one of the best yet in terms of Halloween marketing.
1) Yorkshire Tea - Let's Have A Proper Boo!
"We interrupt your Twitter feed to bring you this breaking news," tweeted Yorkshire Tea as they shared their Halloween-themed message.
The tweet featured a funny video clip, which turned out to be very relatable for most of our team, depicting a bunch of zombified people wandering around aimlessly in desperate need of their morning cuppa.

Fortunately for these groaning, moaning zombies, the Yorkshire Tea team are on hand to save the day, arriving in a van chocked full of tea to revive the employees.
2) Northumbrian Water - #scarymovements
"We’ve got loads of s-poo-ky treats lined up for you today so stay tuned!" Northumbrian Water, who we have thoroughly enjoyed working with recently, were a tad cruder with their content, challenging their Twitter followers to describe "your last trip to the toilet using only a horror movie title."
This prompted some fantastic engagement featuring some very humorous responses. Take a look below...

But first thing’s first… We want you to describe your last trip to the toilet using only a horror movie title. Go…

3) BMW - Favourite Superhero
BMW used Halloween as an opportunity to have a sly dig at one of its key competitors.

"Now every car can dress up as its favourite superhero," wrote the BMW admin, implying that all Mercedes cars aspire to be a BMW.
4) Paddy Power
You can always rely on Paddy for a comical tweet or two, and this Halloween they did not disappoint!

5) Netflix - Happy Halloween
Netflix is excellent at engaging its followers on social media. This year, they cleverly snook some of their best streamable scary movies in a Happy Halloween message. Promoting their services and remaining in the Halloween spirit, Netflix successfully ticked both boxes of a successful seasonal marketing message.
