Expansion of the Knapton Wright portfolio: welcoming Bazzoo into the fold

July 2023 sees a new chapter in the Knapton Wright story with Bazzoo, a complementary business based in Newark, joining the KW fold.

Eight years ago I met James Fountain, founder of Bazzoo, at Newark Business Club and we immediately hit it off. It became apparent that we shared similar values, ran complementary businesses, so we quickly made plans to collaborate on some marketing workshops for hospitality businesses in and around Newark. Fast forward to 1st July 2023 and my colleagues and I were delighted to welcome into the Knapton Wright brand Bazzoo and its twenty year history of creating engaging brand and interactive campaigns.

At Knapton Wright we recently celebrated our ninth anniversary, having expanded from a small social media consultancy when Louise and I set it up, to being a marketing agency that works with brands that put the planet first. You will see from our ever increasing showcase of case studies and marketing stories the strength and depth of our technical and creative team. By bringing Bazzoo’s brand and clients into our stable, we’re looking forward to working with James to continue the award-winning work he and his colleagues have delivered over the past twenty years.

Over the years, I’ve come to realise the importance of value alignment over just about everything else, whether that’s clients, team members or collaborators, so when the opportunity arose to take on a successful agency that puts creativity and client happiness first, our leadership team of Rob, Louise and I leapt at it. Not only does it increase the knowledge, experience and client base of our team, but it also provides a broader range of services for Bazzoo’s clients, as we have specialists in paid advertising (PPC), search engine optimisation (SEO), PR & comms, technical web design and build, analytics and measurement and digital marketing auditing, to name a few of our areas of expertise. 

Like Bazzoo, we’re a small and well-formed team, working closely with businesses to generate positive results from creative marketing campaigns and technical development work.

The coming together of the two businesses marks the beginning of a significant chapter in their respective stories, one which both my co-directors and I and James are really looking forward to getting stuck into. We hope it fills our clients, contacts and extended connections with similar positivity at the opportunities which will present themselves.
